The Nepalese Association of Utah preserves and promotes the centuries old Nepalese culture, tradition and heritage. Nepalese dances are full of colorful, joyous, and gratifying expressions representing the elegant beauty of Nepal. Flute, Madal (Nepali handheld drum), Sarangi (a string instrument) and Murchunga (jaw harp) create distinct Nepali music. Dancers in beautiful traditional Nepali dress demonstrate rich cultural celebration.
