Mariachi Fuego is a local Utah band made up of school children and is celebrating their first anniversary. Its director, Marx Huancas is classically trained and has played with the Salt Lake Symphony. Mariachi Fuego recently won third place in a mariachi contest where they competed against professional mariachis.
