The Lebanese community has had a presence in Utah since the turn of the 20th century. The Anton Family Band continues to play for community functions at St. Jude’s Maronite Church. They play a combination of tunes passed down through the family that range from poignant songs to lively line dances that invite community participation.
The Salt Lake City Arts Council is a division of Salt Lake City Corporation in the Department of Economic Development and also maintains a nonprofit corporation, the Salt Lake City Arts Council Foundation with 501(c)(3) status.
